10 Reasons To Take A Career Break In Your 40s

Taking a career break or a sabbatical in your 40s sounds like an absolute dream to some people.  The idea of taking a break from work for a year, to enjoy yourself and to live your best life. 

And then there are the other people.  The ones that have gotten past the dreaming stage and start thinking about whether it can actually happen in their own lives.  For most of those people getting past the dream gets them directly into uncertainty.

Is this a good idea? Is a sabbatical right for me?  Will taking a break from my career be good for me in the long run? Should I take a sabbatical?
